Tipu Shaheed College is a private intermediate college in Swat offering Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering and Computer Science programs, affiliated with BISE Swat. The college is known for disciplined academics, experienced faculty, and strong board results.

Founded 1994

Established and later officially registered and recognized by the Directorate of Secondary Education, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar.

Affiliation

Affiliated with Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Saidu Sharif Swat up to Intermediate level, and registered with the Private School Regulatory Authority (PSRA) KP.

Growth

Started as primary classes only; gradually upgraded to Middle, High, and Higher Secondary (College) level.

The Name

Originally Sultan Teepu Model School, renamed Tipu Shaheed School and College in 2012 in reverence to Sultan Tipu Shaheed, who fought against British colonial expansion in South Asia and was martyred on 4th of May, 1799 — a day the college observes each year as his Martyrdom Day.
